Future Group has launched HomeTown’s new store at LBS Marg, Vikhroli. , HomeTown is India’s most comprehensive home making and home improvement store. The store is spread over an area of about 2 lakh sq.ft.

This is Future Group`s 10th HomeTown, with the other 9 located in Ahmedabad, Bangalore (2), Hyderabad, Indore, Kolkata, Lucknow, Noida and Pune. The HomeTown store is divided into three sections - exhibitions, markets and services.

Exhibition section: HomeTown will have live displays in the exhibitions section consisting of - living room settings, bedroom settings, dining room settings, kids’ room settings, kitchen settings and bath room settings. This will help the customers to imagine how coordinated their room would look if they purchased from HomeTown.

Markets section will feature products like sofa sets, dining tables, beds, kids furniture, kitchen fittings, bathroom fittings, furnishings, mattresses, paints, tiles, electrical fittings, decor lighting, plywood, and consumer durables and electronics (through eZone shop-in-shop). Services section will offer service options such as - Mr Carpenter, Mr Plumber, Mr Electrician, Mr Painter, Tilewala, Design and Build, door delivery and installation.

Design & Build, this is a unique end-to-end solution that will help customers bring their dream home to life. From home designing and interior works for a new home to renovating existing homes. Design and build will support all home related services like interior designing, carpentry, bathrooms fittings, masonry work, painting solutions and electrical fittings.

Nikon has unveiled new P-series camera - Nikon Coolpix P100. This has CMOS sensor with a backlight. It has ability of high-speed shooting at maximum size 3648×2736 (10M) at a rapid 10-fps and up to 120-fps in Sport Continuous mode.

Nikon Coolpix P100 can also record video in Full HD 1080p for high-definition images with stereo sound, in-camera HDR and enhanced night shooting.

Nikon P100 camera is equipped with 10.3 effective megapixels with ISO up to 3200, NIKKOR ED glass lens with a focal length of 26-678 mm super-telephoto (f/2.8-5.0) and 26x optical zoom, and 3-inch TFT LCD with Clear Color Display, and built-in image sensor shift and Electronic VR image.

Nokia has launched it’s smart mobile phone model 5233 in India.

Nokia 5233 specifications are similar to Nokia 5230 but it doesn’t come with a 3G transceiver. Nokia 5233 specifications are a touch screen of 3.2” with 16:9 picture quality, 640×360 pixels resolution and 16.7 million colors.

The features of Nokia 5233 include:

• Handwriting recognition system
• dedicated keys for volume control, power, camera and application launch
• Media touch key for easy access to gallery, online photo sharing, web browser and video centre
