hello, i am also suffering from thinning of hair and hair baldness that has just started. i have visited almost all hair specialist like
1. Dr Batra : here the doctor tells to a take medical course of 3 years, this includes some homeopathy tablets which should be taken daily for 3 years and laser treatment at a cost of 24000/- .
2. Richfeel: here the doctor gives some tablets, shampoo and an lotion for curing, at a cost of 12000/- per year, which include some laser treatment and some other treatment monthly
3. Cutis clinic: the doctor prescribes CoverIT 5% lotion and tablet named KOH-R and shampoo named ketafome for 3 months and he told that , i will get a good result after 3 months
what i think is dr batra and richfeel are just money eater is doesn't help in hairfall or hair growth and recently is went to cutis clinic which i am not sure about them.
the problem is, are there any side effects of using
1. cover-it solution
a. how does this lotion works
b. coverit lotion just helps us to grow hair but doesn't help in hair loos this means, though i use cover-it lotion hair fall will continue, is this true
c.i heard that using cover-it lotion results in impotency and fertility it this true
and then i went to meet a doctor cum guru he use only ayurveda to cure diseases, he is a very great, he cured many cancer by ayurveda which other doctor cound'nt. i wen to him and told the hair fall problem with me. he told some point about hairfall..

Does intake of ALOE VERA GEL continuosly for 6 months have any side effects
please help me with this confusions and guide me for a safe remedy for hair fall, thank you

Dr Batra and their ilk are not reliable.
Coverit or Mintop are good in case of male or female pattern baldness which a good trichologist or dermatologist can identify. In Bangalore you can consult Dr Anil Abraham. The Minodixil lotions work for these cases and hair grows back if the hair roots are not dead, the hair roots generally die after 3-6 months the hair strand falls. Also finasteride tablets reduce DDT which can reduce hairfall, the doctors also presribe this.
There may side effects like itching etc. which are listed in this forum.
Any laser treatment etc. are primarily to relive stress etc. which can reduce hairfall.
Aloe Vera is good for hair, however for alopecia or pattern baldness due to heredity, this might not work.

I am using Mintop 10 from 3-4 days twice a day of 1 ml dose. After using it,my hair became very rough and skin portion where I am applying it,became very dry.
I want to know is it expected behavior after applying it or not? Please provide me your expert comments on it.

I always like natural treatment..Another effective home remedy for hair loss is to be gentle with your hair. Too much styling or heat can be harmful to your hair and over time will cause real damage. For best results use a gentle shampoo no more than once a day followed by a good gentle conditioner. Make sure that you use one that is right for your type of hair. If you must use a hair dryer, keep it on a low setting. Do not tease your hair. This will only harm your hair and be bad for it in the end. Ideally it would be better to air-dry your hair naturally.

Dear Members ,
pls help me as i hav a very big doubt about Dr.Reddys Mintopforte USP 5% solution.My doubt is that whther Mintopforte USP 5% can be used for growing facial hair(Beard) or not? ? pls tell me a correct answer so that i can use it on my face for growing Beard as i lack facial hair(Beard)...pls help me ! !Does it helps to grow facial hair(Beard) too? ? does it causes any side effects in future ?? pls reply guys ! !

If you really want to know whether mintopforte or any of such kind of medicine will work or not is to visit a trichologist. Trichologist is the one who has studied about hair and scalp. I think you should visit richfeel trichology centre. They will be on better position to answer all your queries instead of asking randomly. Once visit them and all your issues should be resolved because they are the expert.

Hi friends,
I am a 32 year old man undergoing Testosterone Replacement Therapy. After 6 months of treatment, My Hairs increasingly falling down and MPB male pattern baldness started.
I checked with a local doctor dermatologist and She asked Me to take Mintop Forte 5% Everyday and Weekly use of Nizral Shampoo.
My Doubt is, Still I face hair fall. How many months does it to take to see some result? I have DHT due to increasing levels of Testosterone and only option I have is to use minoxidil and other preventive maintenance. Finastride was not recommended by the Doctor.
Is there any other solution rather easy to apply on the scalp? with mintop forte, it sticks on hair and dries.
If I take Mintop 10, is it OK will I have a faster result?

i am using mintop 5% & 10% for past 3 years it has work amazing for me but when i visited u.p last year after that my hair has started to fall rapidly inspite of using mintop i am not able to stop ... please help me..

You should consult a trichologist, hair fall might be happening due to other reasons than alopecia.

Mintop typically does not stop hairfall but regrows hair when roots are active. There are other treatments also which you can consult a trichologist.
